The Redhead exhibition celebrates the beauty of red heads. The overall exhibition takes you to a journey of walking through a Scottish woodlands during autumn season. The inspiration behind this exhibition is from the autumn leaf itself which symbolises beauty, rarity and change. The auburn colour is highlighted throughout the interior of the space to exaggerate the beauty of the colour red/auburn.
An interactive wall is installed around the columnsĀ of the space so visitors can write down what they love about people with redheads after they've walked through the exhibition. There is also another wall which showcases names which our current society have called redheads in the past. The purpose of this wall is to see the current behaviour within society and contrast it with the positive things the visitors have written on the wall. This is to encourage people with red hair to embrace their beauty and become more confident with their true selves.
